The chocolate lovers rejoice, because the results of recent studies indicate enjoy milkchocolate bars will improve brain function.
"Chocolate contains many elements that are to be stimulants such as theobromine,phenethylamine, and Kaffeine," says Bryan Raudenbush from Wheeling Jesuit Universityin West Virginia.
These compounds have previously been found to be increasing the level of awarenessand ability to concentrate. The results showed, by eating chocolate can get the stimulating effects that will lead to increased mental performance.
Raudenbush and his colleagues said the effects of the brain's ability to do research on a number of volunteers who ate chocolate in some species. The study is in four separate incidents of the first group consumed 85 grams of milk chocolate bars, 85 grams of dark chocolate, 85 grams of carob, and the fourth group did not eat anything.
After 15 minutes later the volunteers in this study underwent several neuropsychologicaltests designed to see cognitive performance. Including memory, concentration, reactionand problem solving skills.
"Value for verbal and visual memory highest for those who enter the group consumingchocolate milk compared to the three other groups," says Raudenbush.
Enhancement of both verbal and visual memory also occurred in the group who consumedother types of chocolate but the results were under the first group.
